Founded in 2000 by Bay Area native, Madison, to provide soundsystems to local djs for small parties. Chocolate Sound took off from then on growing into a full scale dj service and pro sound equipment rental company. We can provide anything from two speaker dj setups to full scale club sound. Also - turntables, mixers, amps, cordless mics, monitors, two way speakers, and subwoofers.

An alternative to the STANDARD DJ; Available for weddings, night clubs, corporate events,  parties, dances, or any other occasion. Specializing in 70's/80's funk and soul, hip hop, reggae roots/dancehall, disco, 80's pop and alternative rock, soulful house, 2 step, mashups, drum and bass, salsa, reggaetone, bhangra, Motown, swing, jazz and standards. Our catalog includes over 25,000 songs with  all genres of music, for all ages. All of our djs have over 10 years of experience to complete your nightclub, wedding, corporate event, school dance and party needs. Not only are our djs able to fill a dance floor but also can provide a lounge setting. We use all pro gear from JBL,Cerwin Vega, Technics, Vestax, and Mackie. You can hear our djs at many of the SF night clubs such as Ruby Skye, Club 6, Fluid, Loft 11, 111 Minna st., DNA, Asia SF, Little Baobab, Butterfly & more.

Holding  residencies at many of the clubs in the SF area, Club 6, Loft 11, Envy, Asia SF, The Forum, Sound Factory, Ruby Sky, Emmy’s, John Collins, Farmer Browns, Baobab, Fluid Ultra Lounge, Butterfly and more. He’s opened for legends such as Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest), DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Quest Love (The Roots) .
Playing and loving all music that has Soul! He started Chocolate Sound in 2000 to provide sound systems & dj services to other dj’s, clubs, and to the community.

T.D. Camp

I'm a DJ and over-all music addict. I make a lot of beats, produce, edit, mix and engineer. You might have heard some of my material working with my group Bored Stiff, or other artists like Co-Deez, Equipto, Mac Dre, Casual, San Quinn, Spank Pops, Elements of Change and Three Shades of Rhythm. Ras Cue is a Bay Area staple that has been djing world wide for the last 20 years . DJ Cocheze

Cody Smith, aka DJ Cocheze, has been rocking the 1200's since the mid 90's when the "Battle" scene was at its peak. At the age of 13 he purchased his first pair of turntables and locked himself in his room to learn the art of turntablism. He was inspired by a video of the Invisible Skratch Piklz which included DJ Qbert, Mix Master Mike, and DJ Apollo. By the age of 15, Cocheze was traveling to Denver CO. to compete in battles every month. Cocheze not only rocked the battle scene, but shared the stage in multiple clubs with artist such as Guru, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh, Tribe Called Quest, Rhazel, Method Man, MC Lyte, and many more. At the age of 18 he moved to Orlando Florida to pursue a degree in Recording Engineering and further his battle skills. He would go on to win multiple Hip Hop Elements battles and the Southeast Regional Guitar Center battle. On Feb. 18th 2005, Cocheze did one show with KRS-One and went on to be his personal tour DJ for the next 3 years. He completed over 400 shows as his DJ in over 20 countries across the world. Since linking up with KRS-One, Cocheze has traveled the world rocking parties as one of the younges and most gifted DJ's in countries like Japan, Africa and Spain. His sets can go from mashups with Hall & Oates to straight James Brown funk to classic Hip Hop mixed with reggae and dancehall all with the mind of a turntablist. Really there is no crowd too beig or small that Cocheze can't rock. Now he resides in  San Francisco and Djing for Flavor Group, Cocheze is able to interact with some of the worlds best DJ's on a daily basis and rock some of the biggest parties the bay has to offer, such as the Scion Exprescion event held in the bay every year.
